You can download the City Council agendas and minutes in PDF from the City's Document Downloads. For older agendas, call the City Secretary’s office at 218-5404. Agendas are posted two days before the meeting. Minutes must be approved by the Council before they are posted.

You may address the City Council during the Citizen’s Communications section of the agenda. All comments are limited to 3 minutes. In order to be recognized during the Citizen’s Communications, an “Appearance Before the City Council” card must be completed and placed in the designated box at the back of the Council Chambers. Please note that if the matter you wish to discuss is not on the agenda, you may prefer to discuss the matter with the City Manager’s office so that necessary facts can be gathered and the matter may be placed on the agenda for a future City Council meeting. The Round Rock City Council and Mayor serve three year terms.
Is there a filing fee to run for City Council?
Yes. Candidates for City Council shall pay a filing fee of $50 or submit a petition in lieu of the filing fee (25 signatures needed).

Yes. Per Ordinance number 11.424 (d) of the Code Book, one garage sale or other similar activity is allowed every 6 months.
What are the holidays for garbage pick-up?

Neighborhood Associations (NAs) are voluntary organizations in which neighbors organize to address issues particular to their area (such as unsafe intersections, problem neighbors, park beautification), and for social functions (picnics, compiling lists of neighborhood babysitters and lawn-mowers). NAs often work with city personnel (planners, police, parks dept. etc.) to address these issues. Membership is voluntary, and fees are minimal or nonexistent. NAs have no ability to legally enforce restrictions or assess membership fees.
Homeowners’ Associations (HOAs) are similar to Neighborhood Associations, but are principally concerned with maintaining community appearance and common facilities (such as landscaping, pools) through the collection of fees and enforcement of deed restrictions. HOAs are usually created by the developer as a means of paying for the maintenance of common facilities and assuring homebuyers of a certain community appearance. When all the homes in the community have been built, the developer’s role in the HOA is usually taken over by a property management organization. Membership and fees are required with the purchase of property in the community.
