Norwood |
Steve Norwood started work as City Manager on Jan. 24, 2011. He replaced Jim Nuse, who announced his retirement in June 2010.
Norwood has served as the City Manager for the City of Prescott, Ariz., since 2003. Prior to the City of Prescott, Norwood served as the Assistant City Manager for the City of North Richland Hills, Texas, from 1998-2003, the City Manager for the City of Lancaster, Texas, from 1995-1998, the City Manager for the City of Wylie, Texas, from 1992-1995 and as the Assistant to City Manager/Director of Economic Development for the City of Euless, Texas, from 1986-1992.
Norwood holds a Masters Degree in Urban Affairs from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University.
