- For the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas, Thursday and Friday trash service will slide back one day. Residents with trash pick up on Thursday will move to Friday and regular Friday pick up will be on Saturday. Holiday trash pick up schedule The City provides a variety of recycle/re-use programs designed to convert waste into resources. The residential services include , Curbside Recycling , Drop-off Recycling Center , Household Hazardous Waste Disposal , Computer and Television Recycling , an annual Brush Recycling and Mulch as well as an annual Spring Clean Up Week and Spring HHW Saturday Collection . In October, 510 tons were recycled curbside. The total amount of material recycled curbside in Fiscal Year (FY) 2014 was 6,317 tons, 6,364 tons in FY-2013 and 6,093 tons in FY 2012.
