A list of all materials to be used on the project must be submitted to the Design Engineer for approval prior to the pre-construction meeting. The list should include: pipe for water/wastewater, valves, hydrants, service materials, fittings, manholes, reinforced concrete pipe, rebar, road base, asphalt, etc.
Trench Safety Plan
Copies of the Engineered Trench Safety Plan, sealed by the Design Engineer, must be provided at the pre-construction meeting for the Design Engineer and Construction Inspector.
Traffic Control Plan
Copies of the Engineered Traffic Control Plan, sealed by the Design Engineer, must be provided at the pre-construction meeting for the Design Engineer and Construction Inspector.
Evidence that the Texas One Call Center has been contacted for information on existing buried utilities must also be provided at the pre-construction meeting.
Note: The contractor is solely responsible for any sub-contractor they may use.
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
If a SWPPP is required, two (2) copies must be provided to the construction inspector at the pre-construction meeting. A copy of the SWPPP must be kept on site and updated as required. For more information on preparing a SWPPP please visit the EPA.
Notice of Intent (NOI)
Two (2) copies of the NOI or Construction Site Notice, as applicable, with dated proof of delivery to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), must be provided at the pre-construction meeting to the Construction Inspector.
All appropriate permits/notices must be posted on site as required.
Erosion/Sedimentation Control (ESC)
All ESCís (silt fences, rock berms or other best management practices), as shown on the approved construction plans shall be installed prior to the pre-construction meeting.
Inspections shall be made after any significant rainfall and all ESCís shall be adjusted as necessary.
Construction entrance(s) must be installed as shown on the approved construction plans and maintained.
Any debris tracked onto public roadways must be cleaned at the request of City Construction Inspector.
