Round Rock's Purchasing Department is a member of the Finance Department of the City. Purchasing protects the interest of the City of Round Rock taxpayers and is responsible for assuring fair and equitable treatment to all vendors without regard to political pressure.
Staff consists of a Purchasing Manager charged with the responsibility of purchasing all supplies, materials, and equipment required and contracts for all repairs to property and supervises all purchases made on competitive solicitations.
The City of Round Rock currently uses respondents registered by commodity code with the State of Texas Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) for solicitations. Persons or vendors interested in being added to the City of Round Rock Bidder's Mailing List should contact the Purchasing Department for information on registering with the CMBL.
Minority and small business vendors are encouraged to respond on any and all City of Round Rock projects.
