Company upgrading refrigeration system says there is potential for ammonia smell
Michael Angelo’s Gourmet Foods will be shutting down their refrigeration system to perform preventive mainteance from Friday, June 27, through Thursday, July 10.
This shutdown will require the transfer of ammonia around the property. During the transfers and disassembly that occurred Monday, June 30, there was a slight smell of ammonia in the vicinity of the facility, 200 Michael Angelo Way.
The Williamson County Hazardous Materials Unit was on hand to observe the process.
