Round Rock Police Explorers to participate in Sticker Shock event on Saturday
Campaign reminds consumers not to give alcohol to minors
The Round Rock Police Explorers, 7-Eleven, Lifesteps Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition, and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission are teaming up for a “Sticker Shock” event on Saturday, April 19.
The Sticker Shock Campaign involves volunteers placing stickers on alcoholic beverage packages to remind consumers to think twice about providing alcohol to minors. Those doing so face up to a $4,000 fine and a year in jail.
The Explorers will be placing the stickers at the 7-Eleven store at 1801 S. Mays in Round Rock on Saturday morning.
