Multifamily zoning initiative public hearing scheduled for Sept. 27
Proposed changes to multifamily zoning distrrict
The City of Round Rock is initiating a zoning proposal to rezone all properties that currently allow for multifamily development within the city limits. Multifamily units will continue to be allowed on the properties, but if the City Council approves the proposal, the regulations will be changing in order to promote higher quality development.
The City Council will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting on Sept. 27 before considering final adoption of the ordinance changes. The Planning & Zoning Commission voted to recommend adoption of the ordinance at its meeting on September 5. Video of the meeting is posted on Round Rock Replay.
