Water restrictions lifted
Brazos River Authority lifts Stage 2 Drought Contingency Plan measures
In late August, the Brazos River Authority directed its customers who access water from Lake Georgetown to implement Stage 2 Drought measures, which for the City of Round Rock means transitioning from voluntary to mandatory watering restrictions.
With recent rains in October, the water level in Lake Georgetown has risen to almost 95 percent full and Stage 2 mandatory watering restrictions have been lifted. However, residents should continue to water wisely and conserve this natural resource. Thank you for all your efforts.
