Round Rock Parks and Recreation offers a great program guide for the summer, fall, and spring. If you have not picked up your summer guide, I strongly recommend you do. This guide will provide you with all the summer camps, classes, and activities going on in 2008.

You still have time to jump into a couple different summer camps. There is volleyball, tennis, and soccer camps still going on through the end of July into August. This is a great opportunity for the children to learn a new sport or stay active the one they already play during the year.

Also, the City offers a combo camp. I think this is probably the coolest camp. It allows children to dabble into a bunch of different sports and learn basic sport skills. It will also teach them the philosophy of fun and team work. So if you are wondering how to get your children into sports, but do not know which one they will like best, then sign them up for this camp. They will have the opportunity to try an assortment of sports, while having fun this summer. And think about how much time and money you will save not having to sign up for a variety of different sport seasons throughout the year.

You can find a list of these camps in your 2008 Summer Program Guide or visit www.roundrockrecreation.com to view the camps and classes and also to register.
