"Movies in the Park" Kicks off this Friday night at Main Street Plaza!

Once again Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department presents FREE Movies in the Park events at Main Street Plaza and Old Settlers Park. Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy these free family events.

Pre-movie activities start at 7:30 p.m. and the movies start at dark.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Friday, May 25 at Main Street Plaza
The Main Street Plaza is located next to City Hall at 221 East Main Street. Enjoy a LIVE musical perfomance by Unleashed at 7:30 p.m. before the movie begins.

Unleashed is a band of young musicians from Round Rock. They play and perform way above their years! Members range in age 12-15. They have been together since April 2010. They play classic and current hits from every generation! They perform regularly in venues and concert halls all over Central Texas.

Friday, June 1 at Lakeview Pavilion at Old Settlers Park
Old Settlers Park is located at 3300 Palm Valley Boulevard (off of Harrell Park Way, behind the Dell Diamond).
This event is sponsored by Kona Ice.

August 10 at Lakeview Pavilion at Old Settlers Park

Parking is available by the Lakeview Pavilion at Old Settlers Park and at the parking garage behind the Main Street Plaza and there is no fee to park.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets in order to comfortably enjoy the movie. Kona Ice will be available for guests. Come and enjoy the summer tradition of Movies in the Park, FREE events for the entire family!

Join us for "Movies in the Park" beginning this Friday Night! Once again, Time Warner Cable presents "Movies in the Park" at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy these free family events. Pre-movie activities start at 7:30 p.m. and the movies start at dark.

Megamind is brought to you in part by Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union.

Shrek Forever After - Friday, June 24 at Lakeview Pavilion.
Shrek Forever After is presented by University Federal Credit Union.

Despicable Me & Iron Man 2 - Monday, July 4 as part of the City of Round Rock's July 4th Frontier Days Festival.
Despicable Me will screen at the Rabb Pavilion and Iron Man 2 will screen at the Lakeview Pavilion.

Admission to "Movies in the Park" is free, courtesy of Time Warner Cable, University Federal Credit Union and Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union. Parking is free and available by the Lakeview Pavilion and the Rabb Pavilion. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and picnic blankets in order to comfortably enjoy the movie. Concessions will be available for guests.

Before the movies, enjoy games and trivia hosted by Time Warner Cable. Children can enjoy playing at the playground. Bring a volleyball to play at the nearby courts or another outdoor ball or toy to enjoy prior to the movie.
