Round Rock residents will get more than just a good feeling from recycling their Christmas trees, the City will give away a free tree seedling (while supplies last, Saturday only) to residents who bring their Christmas trees for recycling on Saturday, January 2.</p> <p><i>Round Rock residents may bring their Christmas Trees to the Round Rock Brush Recycling Center for recycling during any regular operating day from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday - Saturday. </i></p> <p>Residents must remove all decorations, nails, wires, ornaments, tree stands, lights, and tinsel before bringing in their tree to the recycling center. The trees will be shredded into a fine, usable mulch which is free to Round Rock residents for pickup at the recycling center.
