Proud to be an American contest
The Round Rock Leader has a Proud to be an American contest for July 4. The Leader is asking those who are interested to write a 50 words or less essay on why they are proud to be an American.
The leader will be collecting entries until June 30. That’s only a couple days away so get to writing! The winning entry will be read by Mayor Alan McGraw at the July 4 Frontier Days Celebration.
Send your entry to editor@rrleader.com or drop them off at 1015 S. Mays St., Suite 101.
Good luck to all who enter. I can’t wait to hear what the winning person wrote!
