Ready to hunt in the dark?

Thursday night is the flashlight egg hunt at Old Settlers Park! What started as a small event has grown to huge proportions as local youth take advantage of this spin on the traditional egg hunt. This year there is a parent-assisted hunt at 8 pm and then a child only hunt at 8:30 pm. Both hunts will include special prize eggs where hunters can win prize baskets, passes to Gatti-land, Round Rock Bowling Alley and more.

What's cool is that no kids can get lost in the hunt area because its completely fenced in and there's only one exit which is where parents stand as their kids come out. It's equally as fun to watch the hunters as it is to hunt because flashlights fly everywhere while the hunters try to find the candy in the dark. The cost is $4 in advance, $5 at the event.  The Easter Bunny will be there too. Come out and hunt with us at this unique opportunity courtesy of Round Rock Parks and Recreation - where quality matters!
