Round Rocker: Parks and Recreation 411

Teams represent Round Rock in the State 4v4 Flag Football Tournament

Flag football teams from across the state were in College Station last weekend at the Texas Amateur Athletics Federation (TAAF) Men’s 4 X 4 Flag Football State Tournament.

Round Rock, the Sports Capital of Texas, sent three teams to compete.  The Boarsmen and The Patriots competed in the Division I pool while Uncle Rico’s Revenge played in Division II.  Footballs were soaring and flags were flying all weekend long as the men battled it out for the gold medal.  In the end, the Patriots placed fourth and the Boarsmen placed fifth.  Vinay Gupta and Josh Sibley from Uncle Rico’s Revenge received All Tournament Awards and the team placed second n Division II.
