Baca Center to celebrate 18 year milestone!

The Allen R. Baca Senior Center will celebrate their 18 year milestone and the Round Rock community is invited to celebrate. The entire community is invited to celebrate 18 years of award winning senior activities in Round Rock with a reception on August 31 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm in the Baca Center Grand Ballroom. Attendees will enjoy cake, punch, program and games. Additionally, the Baca Center staff will honor their 18 year anniversary with a special musical performance starring the staff of the Baca Center.

Eighteen years ago, in Round Rock, a group of seniors got together and had a dream of a place where seniors in the Round Rock area could go to play games, exercise, dance, eat and socialize.  So they started planning and dreaming and in 2006 the Allen R. Baca Center for Senior and Community Activities was opened.  Since then, the center has grown to over 1,000 active members and will continue to grow every day.  Residents are invited to celebrate, and see all that the Baca Senior Center has to offer for independent seniors 50 and older.
