Eighteen years ago, in Round Rock, a group of seniors got together and had a dream of a place where seniors in the Round Rock area could go to play games, exercise, dance, eat and socialize. So they started planning and dreaming and in 2006 the Allen R. Baca Center for Senior and Community Activities was opened. Since then, the center has grown to over 1,000 active members and will continue to grow every day. Residents are invited to celebrate, and see all that the Baca Senior Center has to offer for independent seniors 50 and older.
