Round Rock the Boat Regatta FREE Boat Building Schools
What Floats Your Boat? The Round Rock the Boat Regatta takes place on May 15, and Old Settlers Park will be full of spectators waiting to see
who will float, sink or swim at this fun event. Contestants make boats out of cardboard and tape and rely on their inventions to keep them afloat as they travel across the lake at Old Settlers Park.
It’s never too early to start planning for the wackiness that is Round Rock the Boat Regatta, and the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled Free boat building schools! You will get all the information you need to make your own cardboard boat and partisepate in the Round Rock the Boat Regatta. Cardboard will be available at the workshops and at our Round Rock Recycling Center.
